On this episode, Katie discusses financial inclusion.
Financial inclusion is defined as the availability and equality of opportunities to access financial services. People in underserved communities are more susceptible to financial inclusion because of lack of resources. Lack of financial resources leads to people not being served by banking institutions, or unbanked. This episode covers barriers and obstacles of financial inclusion and different ways to achieve financial inclusion for everyone. Katie is joined by Kendrick Baker, a new member of the Navicore Solutions team. Ken is one of Navicore's Community Engagement Managers and he’s focused on developing new partnerships and programs for underserved communities throughout the country. Ken and Katie discuss barriers to financial inclusion, being unbanked, technology’s role in financial inclusion, and much more.
